Well, back at the grind after a super cool weekend at Porpoise Bay out of Egmont BC. Six dives in 43 hours with 50-80 foot viz.... Sea lions, Puget Sound King Crabs, dove the wall at Agamemnon, and my favorite dive of all was Observation Wall in the Skookumchuck Rapids. So much color it was incredible. I was absolutely speechless afterward and didn't know what to look at while I was down there. Dove both Skookumchuck dives with Bill Nowak, UW Sports Diver of the Year. Drift diving on a wall is unbelievable. Tamara and I dove with a whole new group this vacation. Bill Nowak, Chris and Jenn Collins, Rick Rieman, Keith Gamble, Kari Nelson, Kim Coleman, Tamara and I. We had a great time. Resort owners, Kal and Ann were tremendous. Six meals, six boat dives, two nights lodging for $287 per person? What a steal. Agamemnon was unreal with all the cloud sponges and no bottom to be seen. Missed the poochies because Kal and Ann had a couple of their own. Nemo and Apollo. Nemo was super cool. If I had my camera I would treat you all to some videos and pics but the fuckers at JR.com are still dropping the ball. Anyway, just looking forward to Hornby in September, Maui and Kona in September, and off to Lund for a week at Thanksgiving. Maybe we'll stop by and visit Kal and Ann for a dive or two. Anyway, I gotta head to the shop for a CPR/First Aid course taught by Val Lyttle. Via con Dios!
